"I think I'm turning 25, I think I'm turning 25. I really think so..."

Wow! I am 25, I remember when I was nine and I thought that 25 was super old. Now, that I am 25, I think, "What am I doing with my life?", I am still just a kid. For me having a birthday, is just like the second New Year's holiday. I sit around and I ponder my life, what things I like about it, what I don't like about it, and what I am going to do with my next year to improve myself.
WHAT I LIKE:
1. I LOVE my husband.
2. The kitchen in our apartment.
3. My job.
4.Living with my sister.
5.My brother is still alive
WHAT I DON'T LIKE:
1. My apartment complex.
2.Wrecking the car over Christmas.
3.The lack of Coach handbag sales.
4. Spencer and Heidi
5.Paying for my ESL class.
WHAT I AM GOING TO DO BEFORE I TURN 26:
1. Continue to improve our marriage.
2.Become a amateur scrapbooker.
3.Learn to swim.
4. Organize my Guided Reading library at school.
5. Dress as Ms. Frizzle for Halloween

This year I had a great birthday. My husband who loves me very much got me a new ring for both my birthday and our anniversary. My brother Kyle went active on the transplant list. He is now number 1.  At school I had a great pizza party with my class. Tonight, I had a good dinner with great friends, we ate at Macaroni Grill. My husband, sister, Halley and her husband Nich were there. My friend Jenna drove down from New Mexico to celebrate!!

I just want to thank everyone for making this birthday a great one!!!

Author's Fair

Kimberly, my little sister has been living with Ross and me since last March. She moved in shortly after one my little brothers was flown Flight for Life to Colorado University Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Talk about a person taking the saying, "Go Big or Go Home!" a little too literal. He originally went to see the doctor for flu like symptoms, was quickly taken to the ICU in Alamosa for appendicitis. He was admitted to the hospital with gall bladder failure. within 12 hours he had exploritory surgery and then was flown to Aurora with liver failure. His liver has recovered, but spent 2 months in 3 different ICU, and survived heart failure 5 times. He is now living with my mom, in a one bedroom apartment waiting for a heart.

Kimberly is currently going to school, where I work. Last night, we had our second annual authors fair. I love this event, I truly believe that it really gives children a love of writing and gives them ownership in their work.  Kimberly wrote a book called, Heroes of Kyle.

She worked very hard on this book. It is a great book about how Kimberly, Ross, and I find a magical heart for Kyle. I think she found the assignment to very therapeutic. One of my favorite activities is that the PTA gets published authors to come to our school. Kimberly was able to meet the author of Far World,  J.Scott Savage, I haven't read the series.  Meeting the author and having him read her book was quite the experience for Kim. We purchased his book and we are looking forward to reading it.

We had so much fun at the authors fair that we can't wait to do it again next year.

Here We Are!!

So as you may have guessed from the title above, we are The Hamiltons. Ross and I met when I was 14 at a church dance and then after three years of Ross believing that I had crush on his best friend, we started dating. I know it may seem silly to say, but I really liked him when I was 14 cause he was SO tall, at 17 I was crazy in love with and was ready to elope with him at the drop of a hat, then by 23, I was madly in love with and we became eternal companions on June 21, 2008.
What have we done with the last two years of our life? Shortly after we got married we packed up everything we owned and moved to Murray, Utah. Now, I know you what you are thinking, "Why would anybody move to Utah?" well that is simple, Ross was offer a job at Tomax as software developer and I came along for the ride. Now, I am currently a first grade teacher at Parkside Elementary. Last year in April we purchased Sandy, our precious princess puppy, because of this we now spend a lot of our time walking her and cleaning up her poop.
We do have plans to one day start our own family with children, we just wanted some time to adjust into being married. I love being married, and everyday I learn something new about either Ross or me, or sometimes us.  Sometimes it gets a little crazy here in Utah, but I am glad I get to go crazy with Ross in Utah.
